Croissant Park Community Center & Aquatic Facility
The City of Fort Lauderdale awarded RDC a Design/Build contract to construct a new aquatic facility on the Croissant Park School grounds. The School Board and the City of Fort Lauderdale agreed to share the new facility, thereby creating a community pool, an interactive water play pool for families and a 7,500-sq.-ft. community center, complete with kitchen, park office, open play area/meeting rooms, restrooms and changing areas. All areas of the Croissant Park Aquatic Facility meet ADA requirements, including a zero-entry ramp, which enables wheelchair-bound swimmers to roll right into the water. The facility continues to make a big splash in the community.
