Sunset Point Park

Tamarac’s Sunset Point Park project was a nationwide competitive design RFP, with RDC up against some of the largest Design/Build contractors in the country. RDC was selected over larger firms based on our reputation for the highest quality work and our ability to adhere to strict budgets and tight time frames.

RDC met with the City’s staff for three months defining the scope of work until designs and budgets were compatible.

Park amenities include:

• Pre-fabricated restrooms
• Fully accessible playground with sunshade cover
• Four 20′ Hexagon shelters
• One 36′ Hexagon shelter
• One fiberglass coated tensile membrane structure/amphitheater
• Parking lot
• Pathways
• Exercise equipment
• Nature preserve and learning center
