17-story apartment building breaks ground in St. Pete’s Echelon City Center

A new apartment building is under construction at Echelon City Center, a master-planned development, in the Carillon business park of St. Pete.

Earlier this year, St. Pete Rising reported on a 17-story apartment building planned for a 1.88-acre site, dubbed “Site9,” at 221 Main Street North.

After completing site preparations earlier this year, a tower crane has been erected on site and vertical construction is ready to begin. At 176 feet, the building will be one the tallest in St. Petersburg outside of downtown.
