Palmetto Bay Park

RDC’s team of Bermello-Ajamil and Partners, C3TS and Village staff developed a multi-recreational facility that responded to the community’s leisure interests. The result: a 24-acre community park that features a popular skate pavilion, basketball courts and the largest Boundless Playground in South Florida. Another coup is the first of its kind girls’ softball complex, which consists of six state-of-the-art fields, complete with batting cages and covered bleachers at each field.

At the park’s center is a two-story concession building and observation deck. The park also houses a recreation room that’s ideal for indoor activities. A tree-shaded pathway surrounds the entire property and covered picnic pavilions provide shelter for family gatherings and parties.

And it took only one year—start to finish!
