Pinecrest Splash Deck

The recently formed Village of Pinecrest, located in Miami-Dade County, took advantage of RDC’s Cooperative Purchase Agreement to Design-Build a new splash deck in the historic Parrot Jungle. RDC was instrumental in making sure the project design received the Natural Historical Registry’s seal of approval.

The Village of Pinecrest purchased the Parrot Jungle site with a vision to attract new and young visitors to the park by adding a 2,000-sq.-ft. splash deck at the old turtle pond spot. To compound the fun, the splash deck has waterspouts, silly serpents and palm trees with tipping coconuts to ensure no one stays dry.
