The rooftop spa and in-ground swimming pool, both of which are equipped with heaters, complement the outdoor yoga studio and fitness center. Both spa and pool were designed and situated to ensure maximum convenience and relaxation. The project owner, Compson Associates, believes these two water features are Tower 155’s main attraction, because “every day is an invitation to swim, sunbathe, relax and indulge until the stars come out.”

The approximately 1400-sq.-ft. in-ground concrete pool, designed and built by RDC, has an infinity edge where the water constantly flows over the edge, creating the illusion of merging with the blue of the sky.

The infinity edge and the water line are tiled with 1-inch x 1-inch mosaic tiles; the pool interior is plastered with Diamond Brite. Recess benches on both sides ensure that individuals can sit and relax and not block the path of swimmers. The concrete spa is located on the roof in close proximity to the fitness center and yoga studio, making it easy for residents to treat themselves to a little hydrotherapy after their workout.

RDC was instrumental in the success of this project, because we designed and constructed the “hallmark” features of Tower 155. The pool and spa equipment chosen by RDC ensured that the project owner received esthetic value as well as monetary value.
